I have been so busy lately and have not been able to post much here. Lots of things happening but I did sell a pair of earrings this week on my Etsy shop and then realized I had a new set (necklace and earrings) that I wanted to get listed, so I just decided to take a few extra minutes and get that done.
I made it a month ago or so and I actually wore it this past week and really, I may not want to sell it! I really, really like this set!
The necklace features some beautiful aquamarine faceted briolettes that I found at a gem show with my Mom a few years ago.
They are stunning! I was really afraid to use them, they are probably some of the most expensive gemstones I have purchased.
But they work great with the snowy white freshwater pearls. I added a few pewter bead caps for interest. This is the perfect necklace for a bride – you know the saying “Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue.” Well this is definitely something blue!
The pierced earrings are delicate and dainty.
I just love those aquamarine briolettes! They are stunning!
And my feelings will not be hurt if this set doesn’t sell any time soon. I feel like a princess wearing these snow and ice beauties!
