I spent a little time this weekend uploading pictures of one of my new jewelry sets to my Etsy Shop. I made the necklace and earrings a couple of weeks ago. The set has a kind of Bohemian feel, with a palette picked from the colors of the sea.
The necklace is a long (approx. 31″) triple strand piece with lots of brass and lots of sea glass colored beads.
There are brass chains and brass link chains and lots of Vintaj brass filigree and pressed brass beadcaps. And large chunky rough cut Amazonite nuggets.
There are seamist seed beads, and ocean hued blue and green glass round and faceted roundel beads.
And a wonderful large Vintaj brass Soaring Sparrow connector.
The necklace also has a Vintaj brass hook closure.
The matching earrings feature more Vintaj components: a pair of small sparrows, pressed brass bead caps and brass earwires.
They measure about 2.75″ from the top of the earwire to the bottom of the dangle. There are also seamist seed beads and round glass beads.
And some brass chain links to add extra movement.
These pieces were fun to create and really remind me of Spring. I love the muted blue and green colors of the Amazonite and glass beads. They remind me of pieces of seaglass you find at the beach.
