Sunday I was feeling blue….blue like Blue Sea Sediment Jasper, that is!

Recently I have been adding more blue and navy to my wardrobe and decided I needed something blue to wear around my neck. So, I pulled out my stash of Blue Sea Sediment Jasper and got to work.

I came up with this design using Czech Glass and Swarovski Crystals, sterling silver plate connectors and chain. While going through my stash I came across a bag of crystal chandelier drops that Keith and I purchased at an antiques show some time ago. I like how it works in this arrangement.

I made it adjustable, so I can wear it short or long and added another crystal and dangle to the back.

This necklace uses the same Czech Glass Crystals with Sapphire Freshwater Pearls. And I tried something new, I used black leather cord. This was my first time using the cord.

I like how it turned out. The pearls were leftover from a previous project and I only had the 8 that I used in this necklace. It’s fun to use leftovers when you are feeling blue!
