In no way am I saying I am an angel, I did bad things as a kid, but not super bad things, but I am sure I caused some grief to my parents and added many a gray hair! Here are a few I can remember from when I was little:
- Threw temper tantrums
- Fought with my sister constantly
- Sassed my Mom and Dad, talked back, I was very opinionated and stubborn
- I remember once telling my Mom when I was real little that I didn’t want to go to church and I told her that I would tell everyone at church that she forced me to go…I thought I was so clever, but she said fine and that ruined my excuse
- Always tried to blame everything on my sister to get out of trouble – but they always knew
- In elementary school I remember calling my cheerleading coach a bad name (rhymes with witch) and having to apologize to her in front of everyone – that was not fun, I think I would rather have died (you know how dramatic things were when we were little)
- Jumping on our beds – I think I broke a couple of frames, but it was so fun
- Tried a cigarette when I was in third or fourth grade at a summer camp program at school and the counselor caught us – tried them again in high school when we went to parties – so glad that habit never stuck with me, we just did it because everyone else did
