You may remember last year when I told you that I had a picture published in a New River Gorge Travel Guide….and that it was taken during the Bridgewalk that I did with my friends Betsy and Jerry. Well, here I am with my sister in law and brother in law Vicki and Mike getting ready to take the walk again!
Keith’s brother Mike and his wife Vicki are here visiting us in Virginia from Washington State and we thought that while they were on this side of the country they had to do this! I had wanted to go back and this was a perfect opportunity. We did this yesterday and had a perfect day. Here is the catwalk under the bridge; you cannot see to the other side.
Here we are about a third of the way across. We had a great time! Our tour guide Doug was awesome and did a great job taking us across. If you are ever in Fayetteville, WV, you need to do this. It is amazing!
After we finished, we took the old road down to the river below. From here you cannot even see the catwalk we were just on. And yes, we walked the entire length of the bridge on this beautiful, spring day. Wonderful memories were made! I highly recommend this as a great adventure!
