The other day I was listening to the radio in the car when Lindsey Buckingham’s Holiday Road came on. And you know what that brought to mind…the Griswald Family and their attempts at the perfect family vacation. Well, it also made me remember something from our recent trip to Las Vegas and brought a smile to my face.
One morning while we were waiting for a cab, this blast from the past pulled up. The Truckster from the movie Vacation! Well, it’s not actually the same car, but Keith and I both thought the same thing when we saw it pulling up.
And what made it even funnier was at that same time several of the valet attendants started singing Holiday Road. Oh, it was a funny moment. I cannot imagine how much fun that family must be having this summer on their special vacation.
