I have a hard time waking up early enough to see the sunrise when I am not having to go to work. And to be on vacation, it is even harder. Luckily Keith helped me get up early a couple of mornings so that I could see the sunrise over the ocean while we were on vacation at the beach.
This was taken on September 2nd, our first moring at Surfside Beach in South Carolina. There were a few walkers on the beach and one lone gentleman sitting in his chair by the surf. I was still on the deck of our beach house when I took this. It was a wonderful view. The only sound you heard was that of the waves coming ashore. Peace and tranquility.
It’s moments like these that you never forget. I think the sunrise at my house is beautiful, but the ocean gives it a different perspective. And the memories of family and friends at the beach make it more special.
