Yes, it never fails! Whenever we bring out the suitcases to pack for a trip, our cats seem to think they are the perfect place to nap. It has always been this way. It started with Tiger and Shadow, Stormie followed suit and it continues to this day with Dixie and Pixie. This afternoon I found Dixie napping on the suitcase. You can see she was not real happy when I came in to take a picture. Notice all the cat hair on the suitcase. Yup, that’s the way it always ends up. The front of the suitcase is usually covered in someone’s hair that we have to clean off.
And when I came back a little later, Pixie had decided to join her sister atop the luggage. What a pair. Oh, and all those little things that look like fuzz balls or sweater pills? That is from where Stormie would sleep on this case and then use it for a scratching post. They don’t affect the function, it just looks a little odd, but if you ever watch how the baggage handlers throw luggage around anyway, you never really can keep a piece looking pristine. And, it’s nice to know that along with everyone’s hair, a part of Stormie will go wherever we go as long as we use this suitcase.
I wouldn’t have it any other way!
