Sometimes the simplest little things can make you smile. Not just because they are anything super amazing or even amazingly super. Sometimes all it takes is creating organized harmony out of clutter and chaos.
Take today for instance. I was doing some spring cleaning in the guest room and my magazine pile was not only bothering me, but it was bothering Keith. I am the Queen of Clutter and he is the King of Organization. The magazines are a much used item when we have guests. Our family and friends always mention going through them while they are here. But, the cluttered look under the bedside table just wasn’t going to cut it anymore.
So, while out dropping off a carload of items for our local Goodwill store I ran into Kohl’s where I found this perfect little burlap lined wire tote.
I knew it would be the perfect size and I loved that it was wire, so it would be sturdy enough to support the heavy weight of the magazines.
And I loved the simple burlap liner. Goes with any decor and should be easy to take care of. What an inspiration.
So, my quick stop at Kohl’s made me smile today. This cute little tote solved an eyesore of a problem, ending a small amount of chaos in our house. And did I mention it was 50% off with another 20% off at the register? Yup, I have multiple reasons to smile today!
