I was able to finally start on the Crazy Patch border of my Jacobean Flower hand embroidery project this weekend. My friends Betsy and June came over to help me get my border made and then I started stitching. The buttons on the posies on this basket are from one of Keith’s old work uniforms. That’s what I am excited to do with my Crazy Patch – add pieces from family and friends to the hand embroidery. The fabric this is stitched on came from Betsy. My bag of fabric scraps have gone missing. Thank goodness she had these for me to use. Now, I will have to figure out what to add to the rest of my border, which is the hardest part I think.
