Merry Christmas and thank you for joining me for Day 8 of 25 Days of Christmas Wreaths! This month from now until Christmas I am sharing wreaths from Colonial Williamsburg‘s 2015 season with you.
Today’s wreath adorned the Wigmaker’s Shop and features all kinds of goodies: wheat shafts, white cockscomb, globe thistles, pomegranate slices, oranges, strawflowers and yarrow. There is even a comb, a bit of pearls and some hair that would be made into wigs. If you ever go to Colonial Williamsburg, you need to visit this shop. It is very educational and it is amazing to watch them weave these by hand.
