25 Days of Christmas Wreaths – Day 2

December 2, 2016 by tigermucha 1 Comment

Welcome Back!  It’s Day 2 of 25 Days of Christmas Wreaths and today I have another pretty wreath from Colonial Williamsburg to share with you!

THREE LITTLE KITTENS BLOG | Day 2 of 25 Days of Wreaths - Alexander Purdie House in Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia

Today’s wreath is from the porch of the Alexander Purdie House.  And it is simple – only two items – Magnolia leaves and feathers!  I never would have thought to use the underside of a magnolia leaf when decorating since they are such a beautiful Christmas green, but just look at how they turn out when feathers are added.  And having just a few green flips here and there adds a bit of surprise.  Now I am not sure what kind of feathers those are exactly – we thought maybe pheasant – but they could be turkey, too.  Anyway, just a lovely wreath for the holidays!
