Saturday morning as I was washing the breakfast dishes I looked out the kitchen window as the sun was coming up and spotted this HUGE web attached to our tree. The web is over 3 feet long and lucky for me this Common Garden Orb Weaver was in the middle. And it was smiling at me…at least the markings on its back looked like a smiley face! These garden spiders may be considered common, but their artful webs are not the least bit common!
